Let me explain, what I mean by that the fellow employees make the IT person in the fact that the IT person relies on the employee because the employee will probably be the first person to witness the computer error. It is then that it is necessary that the employee accurately and effectively describe the problem to the IT person. If there is a failure of description or communication then the IT person starts off with a huge disadvantage when trying to solve the problem.
I gained this observation as I have found that with certain members of the staff that I work with I am more able to quickly diagnose and solve problems only because their description of problems and symptoms help me immensely.
